President Donald Trump has officially revoked Secret Service protection for Hunter and Ashley Biden, effective immediately, ending the taxpayer-funded security detail that has shielded Joe Biden’s troubled son and daughter for far too long.
The decision comes as Hunter Biden is currently vacationing in South Africa—a move that has raised eyebrows, especially considering his legal troubles and ongoing investigations into his shady business dealings.
Trump’s Statement: No More Taxpayer-Funded Protection for Hunter Biden
Trump made the announcement Monday on Truth Social, slamming the unnecessary security detail that has been costing American taxpayers millions of dollars.
“Hunter Biden has had Secret Service protection for an extended period of time, all paid for by the United States Taxpayer. There are as many as 18 people on this Detail, which is ridiculous! He is currently vacationing in, of all places, South Africa, where the Human Rights of people has been strenuously questioned. Because of this, South Africa has been taken off our list of Countries receiving Economic and Financial Assistance.
Please be advised that, effective immediately, Hunter Biden will no longer receive Secret Service protection. Likewise, Ashley Biden, who has 13 agents, will be taken off the list.”
Hunter Biden’s South Africa Getaway—A Convenient Escape?
Hunter Biden’s lavish South African vacation comes at a suspicious time—just as he was supposed to appear for a legal deposition related to his infamous laptop scandal.
According to The New York Post, Hunter was scheduled for a deposition on March 10 but abruptly attempted to have the case dismissed. Legal experts now believe Hunter was trying to avoid testifying and that his trip to South Africa was an intentional escape.
“Ziegler’s lawyers have since speculated that Hunter was exaggerating the urgency of his financial problems and that he may have wanted to drop the case because he couldn’t make the deposition since he might be taking a three-month trip to South Africa, the native country of his wife, Melissa Cohen.”

Secret Service Agents Used for Biden’s Lavish Vacation
Investigative journalist Laura Loomer obtained exclusive photos confirming that Hunter Biden, his wife Melissa Cohen, and their son Beau were enjoying a luxury getaway in Cape Town, South Africa—all while being flanked by U.S. Secret Service agents.
“I can confirm via my on-the-ground investigation that the US Secret Service is working with the US Embassy in Pretoria, South Africa, to provide US taxpayer-funded protection for Hunter Biden and his wife during their entire time in South Africa. His Secret Service detail includes 12 agents per day,” Loomer reported.
Loomer revealed the staggering cost to taxpayers, outlining the rotating shifts of Secret Service agents guarding Hunter and his family:
“Four agents work to protect Hunter and his wife every 8 hours in 3 shifts, for a total of 12 Secret Service agents every day, ON THE US TAXPAYER’S DIME!”
