LANSING- Over the weekend, thousands of Michigan State and University of Michigan fans gathered for their annual rivalry game. And today a shocking photo surfaced on social media.
Ron Wieser, who has been under fire by both Democrats and Republicans over the past several months has been found in a photo with governor Gretchen Whitmer and AG Dana Nessel.
The University of Michigan Board of Regents called for his resignation back in April after he made comments about governor Gretchen Whitmer, AG Dana Nessel, and SOS Jocelyn Benson:
“Our job is to soften up those three witches and make sure that we have good candidates to run against them, that they are ready for the burning at the stake”
Ron Wieser is the chairman of the MIGOP, and has been under fire for appointing Jason Roe as the MIGOP’s executive director. Back in May, Republican precinct delegates put together a petition for the MIGOP to censure Jason Roe, as he has a reputation of being a “never Trumper,” and stated in a media article that “Trump blew it.” referencing that the election was fair and not fraudulent. A couple months later, Roe did resign his position in the MIGOP, but still works with them behind the scenes.
Does this photo reinforce how Republican Michiganders feels about Ron Weiser being a swamp creature and for the establishment? Let us know in the comments below!
