LANSING- We had an opportunity to “run into” Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist today, rather it was with his driver. Not with a car, but his person.
When we approached the Lieutenant Governor to ask him questions, Gilchrist’s driver kept side stepping in our way. It escalated to pushing and eventually ended in challenging us to “Go ahead, defend yourself!”
There has been a Capitol Police report filed and awaiting further steps of action.
