The January 6th Setup: The FBI, the Left, and the Weaponization of a Protest
On January 6, 2021, thousands of Americans gathered at the U.S. Capitol to protest what they believed was a rigged and stolen presidential election. With Joe Biden receiving a supposedly historic 80 million votes—more than any candidate in history. Suspicions of election fraud ran high among conservatives.
However, what was supposed to be a peaceful protest quickly escalated, not because of Trump supporters, but because of agitators on the front lines, some of whom were suspected to be FBI operatives and left-wing infiltrators.
The Mysterious Unknown Instigator: Was He FBI?
Among those leading the charge into the Capitol was an unknown individual, one who was among the first to rip out a window and instigate violence. Videos show that when others tried to stop him, he aggressively fought back. Speculation has arisen that this person was an FBI agent or government informant, deliberately planted to escalate the situation and give authorities an excuse to crack down on protesters.
Why was this man never identified, arrested, or charged, while hundreds of peaceful conservatives were hunted down and jailed? If the FBI had nothing to do with the events that unfolded, why were they refusing to release all of the security footage from that day?
BLM Leader John Sullivan: A Left-Wing Instigator Inside the Capitol
While mainstream media insisted that only Trump supporters were involved in breaching the Capitol, evidence quickly emerged showing that Black Lives Matter activist John Sullivan was on the front lines, dressed in a Trump hat to disguise himself.
Sullivan was caught on camera inside the Capitol and was mere feet away from Ashli Babbitt when she was fatally shot by Capitol police. For years, Sullivan managed to avoid significant legal consequences, even though he was clearly involved in escalating the situation.
However, on November 15, 2023, Sullivan was convicted on all counts for his participation in the January 6th riot. A jury found him guilty of seven charges, including four felonies, two of which were for carrying a knife into the Capitol. After deliberating for only four hours, the jury reached a unanimous verdict, and U.S. District Judge Royce C. Lamberth ordered Sullivan into custody to await sentencing.
Despite his clear role in the events of January 6th, Sullivan was not initially treated like other protesters—many of whom were detained for months without trial or placed in solitary confinement. His ability to remain free for nearly three years before being held accountable raises serious questions about why he was not pursued with the same urgency as Trump supporters.
Adding to the suspicion, Sullivan was accompanied by a CNN correspondent inside the Capitol, raising serious questions about the role of the media in this event. Why were leftist activists inside the Capitol, disguised as Trump supporters, yet never held accountable in the same manner? The selective prosecution of individuals based on their political ideology is glaringly obvious.
A Government Orchestrated Event? The Parallels to China
The way in which the FBI and the Left used January 6th to justify a nationwide crackdown on conservatives mirrors the tactics of authoritarian regimes like China. In communist China, the government has a history of staging false flag events to justify arrests, purges, and censorship of political opponents.
By setting up January 6th as a so-called “insurrection”, the Left and the FBI gained the perfect excuse to weaponize the justice system against Trump supporters. They used this event to:
Justify the arrest of conservatives who were exercising their First Amendment rights
Expand surveillance on right-wing groups
Push for harsher “domestic terrorism” laws that conveniently target conservatives while ignoring violent leftist movements like Antifa
January 6th: The Left’s Political Tool to Smear Conservatives
It wasn’t enough for the Left and the FBI to set up the events of January 6th—they have spent years using it as a political weapon to brand all conservatives as “insurrectionists” and “domestic terrorists.”
The same people who spent months excusing BLM riots—where businesses were looted, cities burned, and police officers were killed—now claim that conservatives who walked inside the Capitol were attempting a coup. The hypocrisy is staggering.
January 6th was not an insurrection. It was a trap, set by the Left and the FBI to demonize Trump supporters, expand government control, and eliminate political opposition. The real question is: How long will people continue to believe the lies?
